Learning at AIS takes place in a friendly and supportive environment that encourages positive individual achievement. We follow and integrated curriculum which is a combination of classroom and activity based learning.

The focus is on the development of the child’s total personality. Special emphasis is laid on language development. Children are encouraged to give free expression to their ideas, thoughts, feelings and queries. So, as children become articulate, they become effective communicators.

Nursery and Pre-primary
Flexible curriculum, which is activity, based with emphasis on learning by doing. Visual aids like charts, flash cards, models, etc., craft activities and play equipment are the medium for imparting education. Story telling, role play, drawing, tracing lay the foundation for literacy.

Emphasis is placed on the child’s intellectual, physical and social development.

Class I – VI
Children at this age are curious, active, imaginative and experimental. We recognize each child as an individual with his or her own unique abilities. Therefore, our curriculum is structured to encourage then to become self confident, self reliant and disciplined.

Subjects like English, Math, Language I, EVS are taught through the interactive methodology.

Co-curricular activities include pottery, karate, arts and crafts, skating and computers.

Children are also taken on regular field trips and picnics with enhance their knowledge and develop an appreciation for he rich cultural heritage of our country.
